Veneers
A veneer is a thin layer of dental restorative material placed over the front visible tooth surface to either improve the appearance of the tooth, or to restore and protect a damaged tooth. Crooked or misshaped teeth can be made to appear more normal, and discolored or dark teeth can be made to look lighter and even.
Veneers can be made of porcelain, which must be fabricated to each individual requirement in a dental lab, or can also be made of composite material. Your dentist will take an impression of your teeth during your initial appointment and send it to the laboratory where the veneers are custom-made. Once made, the veneer is placed directly by the dentist onto the patient’s tooth, which has already been prepared for the treatment.
Porcelain veneers tend to be more color stable and cost more, while composite veneers give the dentist control of the shading during placement, and costs much less. Veneers are always bonded onto the tooth for strength. They are more fragile than a crown but provide a more conservative treatment in terms of the amount of tooth reduction needed to place them.
One must carefully consider the conditions in which veneers are to be placed in order to see a significant improvement after the procedure. Veneers are best placed as a set in order to achieve the best cosmetic results. A single veneer is one of the most challenging restorations to perform from a cosmetic standpoint. It is important to note that veneers should not be a replacement for braces. It is recommended to straighten healthy natural teeth with braces rather than taking a short cut and using veneers, although braces take a considerably longer treatment time.
Please feel free to discuss your cosmetic dental options with us. We can design a treatment plan that is right for both your oral health and budget.

Other Procedures We Offer
Excellent treatment and care by Dr. Dinh. This was the best dental experience I've ever had - he made me feel very comfortable throughout the procedure and I usually feel anxious. But this time I was ok.
